Silver Bear was founded by Tim and Katie Hall. Katie, a former Division I competitive swimmer, lifelong water-safety advocate, and passionate leader in child development and Tim a three-time Ironman competitor, built Silver Bear around a simple belief:
"Every child deserves to be safe, strong, and confident in the water — and every owner deserves a business that stands the test of time."
Katie is a former Division I competitive swimmer who spent years coaching, studying child development, and asking a simple question: why are so many swim programs still doing it the wrong way? Her answer became Silver Bear's curriculum — a proprietary system built on biomechanics, water confidence, and the kind of progressive skill development that produces swimmers for life, not just the next session.
